Simple enough to follow, ruthless enough to separate champions from chatterboxes. Play hard, show up, chase the points.
The foundation of TGB League play
A Points Match can only take place if there are at least three League members present.
No three? No game. No points. No bragging rights.
Each player earns a Power Ranking based on their average points per game.
If two players tie, here's how we settle it:
We only rank players who have been active enough during the season.
We calculate the average number of games played across all players. Then we take 60% of that average.
That number becomes the minimum games required to qualify for the leaderboard.
The Leader struts in yellow on the Power Ranking board.
Last place and cut players are humbled in pink.
At season's end, the Champion hoists the league Trophy! π
Every now and then, outsiders are allowed to join the chaos.
Guests score points and appear on the leaderboard, but they'll always be represented under a single name.
Need some points? Invite a ringer friend as a guest and destroy your friends!
How matches work in TGB
Before you chase glory in the Majors, you've got to survive the grind.
These are your day-to-day battles β the rounds that build legends, crush confidence, and determine who gets bragging rights at the clubhouse.
Every point counts. Every putt matters. Every excuse is recorded for later roasting.
That's right, we play Medal. Play it till it's in the hole β no gimmes, no mercy.
Obviously, some of us are pretty kak, so to keep things fair, there's a max-stroke rule:
Example: On a Par 4, your max strokes are 10.
Every 9 holes counts as a new round β a fresh start, new bragging rights, and another chance to ruin your mates' day.
Choose your battle format
Sometimes it's just you vs the course.
Each player's total strokes = final score.
Simple. Brutal. Fair.
Select the Indy option under gametypes on the app.
Now we're talking team formats β where egos, alliances, and bad math collide.
Better Ball can be played in teams of 2 vs 2, 3 vs 1, or 2 vs 1.
You can play this with handicaps, or straight up Gross stroke play. The crew decides on the day.
Important: Capture your gross scores. Then capture the Nett result of Matchplay β which team won by how many?
The winning team gets 1st and 2nd, ranked by individual strokes.
The losing team gets 3rd and 4th, also ranked by strokes.
If the team wins, they take 1st and 2nd (ranked by strokes).
If the solo player wins β legend move β they score 10 points + 1 Bonus Point (BP).
If the team wins, they take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (ranked by strokes).
If the solo player pulls off the upset, they score 10 points + 2 Bonus Points (BP).
The big one. The Major. The round that defines legends.
Each league can decide how many WFC Majors they'll play through the year β whether it's one, two, or four.
Every Major means Major bragging rights, Major points, and Major money on the line.
Only the top three finishers earn league points. Everyone else? You get nothing but shame and excuses.
The WFC is still only 9 holes⦠BUT if you're playing 18, the Double Header is officially activated! That means two rounds, 40 points, and maximum chaos on the leaderboard.
IMPORTANT: Capture the first 9 before the second⦠otherwise the system cries and your handicap melts.
Throughout the season, each player carries a WFC Handicap β calculated from your average score over/under par in the league.
The player with the lowest average (your league's best golfer) starts with a WFC Handicap of 0.
Every other player's handicap is calculated by subtracting that lowest average from their own average over/under par.
This means:
So when the WFC rolls around, the underdogs suddenly have a fighting chance.
No partners. No excuses. Just you, your scorecard, and your WFC Handicap.
Simple. Brutal. Beautiful.
The WFC is played stroke play (Medal) β no gimmes, no pick-ups, no "that's good." You play it till it's in the hole.
So on a Par 4, the max is 10. After that, pick it up and move on.
| Position | Points |
|---|---|
| π₯ 1st Place | 20 Points |
| π₯ 2nd Place | 15 Points |
| π₯ 3rd Place | 10 Points |
Tiebreaks are decided by your league's overall Leaderboard ranking.
The NoShow checkbox will be marked if a player does not pitch for the WFC. Everyone has to be present for this bad boy.
If you do not rock up, you will get a noshow on the leaderboard, which is equal to playing a game and getting zero points.
How you climb the leaderboard
| Position | Points |

| 1st | 10 pts |

The difference between mid-table and championship contender
Bonus Points can swing a season β hunt them, steal them, earn them.
Even when you lose, you can still walk away with something.
You earn 1 Bonus Point if:
Your team may have flopped, but if you played better than their No. 2, you get rewarded.
Winning is good. Winning big is better.
Bonus Points based on your winning margin:
Crush the opposition and the system pays you for it.
Show up consistently, get rewarded.
For every 5 rounds played, you earn +3 Bonus Points.
(Yes β you literally get points for just pitching up. No excuses.)
These are the rules. No one cares about your excuses β only your score goes on the leaderboard. Now go dominate your friends.
