TGB began like all great ideas do β a group of IT nerds arguing over who's actually the best golferβ¦ even though our skill levels ranged from "scratch contender" to "hits three fairways a month."
We wanted a way to compete where anyone could win, not just the guy with the silky swing. A system with strategy, teamwork, chaos, and β most importantly β maximum bragging rights at the end of the season.
So we built our own points system. Then tracked everything in spreadsheets. Then messed up the spreadsheets. Repeatedly.
We write software for a living⦠why are we still suffering with Excel?
And just like that, the TGB League was born β a proper platform to capture rounds, track rankings, compare stats, and settle every argument once and for all.
Created by nerds. Powered by competition. Perfected by pure pettiness.
